 Scuttlebutt Sailing Club Championships
The Scuttlebutt Sailing Club Championships are held as part of the Pro Am Regatta. They are a chance for the AMs to get on the helm and sail for prizes and glory (the glory being the internet pages of sailingscuttlebutt.com). Tom Leweck, the Curmudgeon of Scuttlebutt is the Master of Ceremonies. And for the purposes of this event, everyone is a member of the Scuttlebutt Sailing Club.
The schedule is as follows:
Preliminaries:
 Sunday Morning
Laser Racing (the first 10 to sign up, one to a boat—no pros allowed)
Hobie Wave Racing (the first 10 to sign up, two to a boat—no pros allowed)
Hobie Getaways (Pro division, two to a boat)
Sunday Afternoon
Keelboat Racing (the first 8 to sign up with crews of 3-4 people, no pros allowed aboard)
Finals:
Thursday Afternoon
The finals are in IC-24s, with crews of 3-4 persons. No pros allowed aboard.
