At Bitter End, underwater exploration is as easy as putting on your mask. Over 15 snorkeling excursions (hyperlink to Excursions) are offered weekly and included in your 7-Night-Stay.
What can you see snorkeling in the BVI? What can't you see! Coral, sting rays, turtles, barracuda, parrotfish, angelfish, bonefish (keep a keen eye because they are fast!), damselfish, wrasses, anemones, flamingo tongues, conch, a very shy octopus now and again, and more. At certain sites in the BVI you will also find cannons, anchors and other relics dating back to the days when Europeans discovered and fought for control of the region.
Beginners like to snorkel at Bitter End’s Wedding Point on the south end of the resort. From this sheltered spot you will see a variety of colorful fish hiding in the rocks and coral. Don't forget to look toward the deeper water where you may see a tarpon cruising by.
Fins are available at the Watersports Center. Bring your own mask and snorkel, purchase them at Bitter End Outfitters (hyperlink to Provisioning), or rent from Kilbride's Dive Shop (hyperlink to For Yachtsmen/Provisioning).
