Have fun and learn how to kiteboard with an experienced and professional instruction at Bitter End. Our PASA (Professional Air Sports Association) certified Kiteboarding Instructor offers lessons for entry-level riders as well as experienced riders looking to improve their skills. The instruction method maximizes students' time on the water, increases safety and gets students up and riding as soon as possible, making for a more effective learning experience.
Eustatia Sound and North Sound (our kiteboarding areas) feature steady tradewinds, great launching beaches, and a variety of surface conditions (ranging from flat water, to moderate chop). And in order to make the best use of the daily weather conditions, instructors can give lessons from one of our beautiful beaches, or from one of the boats in our fleet, including a sixteen foot inflatable boat that is ideal for water launches. Trips to the kiter-friendly (meaning spots with good wind!) of other nearby islands are also available.
We use customized Slingshot equipment.
The Kiteboard Cocktail Package!
If you are interested in learning to kiteboard or build on the basics you've already learned, try our Kiteboard Cocktail Package, a beginner and intermediate package that includes equipment, instruction, and some of the best conditions for learning on Earth. It is the ultimate experience for watersports enthusiasts who want to learn a new and exciting sport!
In 2011, a five night night Kiteboard Cocktail Package starts at $2165 for two people in a North Sound Suite, and $2415 in a Beachfront Villa.
The seven night package for two starts at $2965 in a North Sound Suite and $3315 in a Beachfront Villa.
The five night package includes your choice of accommodation, breakfast for two, and three two-hour sessions (for 2), while the seven night package adds another two hour session for each rider. After kiteboarding, relax on our beach, by our pool, refresh at our SPA, or sample our other watercraft.
Additional sessions may be added to the package at $100/session/rider.
