Hobie Wave Family Fun Week

Hobie Wave Family Fun Week
November 21-28, 2009
Bitter End’s Hobie catamarans are a favorite among guests. They are easy for new sailors to use, yet the Getaways are a great performance boat for experienced sailors, and no matter your skill level, they are a lot of fun. A whole family can pack a picnic lunch and some towels and take off on one for the day, sailing North Sound and exploring deserted beaches and the world underwater.

Bitter End is one of Hobie’s favorite places, and for the fifth year in a row, Hobie Cat president Doug Skidmore is inviting families to join him at the resort for a week of sailing tips from those in the know (Doug himself as well as his team of experts, including Dan Mangus, Hobie Cat’s marketing director, and also the chair for most of Hobie’s regattas and clinics) and a series of fun races that show off Bitter End’s fleet of Hobie Waves and Getaways.

On top of all these Hobie Family Fun Week activities, Bitter End will have its usual Thanksgiving Week festivities, with the Thanksgiving Day Regatta followed by our annual Caribbean-spiked traditional Thanksgiving Day feast.

And bring along the younger kids too -- kids five and under can stay free this week at Bitter End!
