Admirals Family Package
With activities that appeal to all ages and experience levels, and plenty of opportunity to refresh and rejuvenate throughout the week, the Admiral's Family Package makes a Caribbean family fun vacation easy to plan!
The Admiral’s Family Vacation includes:
• Accommodation for two adults and two children (ages 6-18) in two adjoining rooms—choose from Beachfront Villas, Premium Beachfront Villas or North Sound Suites • Three meals daily • Unlimited use of the Club’s fleet of boats, dinghies and daysailers • Introduction to Sailing Course • Fresh Water Pool • Walking/Hiking Trails • Monday Night Guest Cocktail Party • Sunday Regatta and Party • Day long bluewater excursions to sites such as Anegada, Norman Island, The Baths • Snorkeling trips in and Around North Sound • Sunset Sails • Champagne Cruises • Junior Watersports Program and Kids Camp
While you spend a few hours visiting the spa, relaxing by the pool or picking up the basics of sailing in our Introduction to Sailing Course, your children can take part in our Junior Watersports Program or Kids Camp, learning to sail, snorkel or windsurf, or learn sand painting, join in on guided walks, or take part in storytelling, scavenger hunts and snorkeling trips.
In the evening, they can enjoy age-appropriate movies shown in the Sand Palace, our outdoor movie theater (the only one in the Virgin Islands!), while you enjoy dinner. Together, you can take a picnic lunch and explore the many small islands bordering North Sound. The possibilities are endless!

Family Fun Weeks at Bitter End
Our busiest family weeks at Bitter End (Spring Break weeks, Easter week, Thanksgiving and Holiday weeks) allow for kids to make new friends and families to meet and have fun together. Kids' program activities are expanded so that everyone is able to participate, and the kids can choose from a menu of activities that offer opportunities to learn to sail and have fun on the water, Caribbean-style, while still allowing for family vacation time as well, whether that's on a daylong excursion, or taking off for the day on your own Boston whaler adventure, picnic lunch in tow.
The Kids Camp Coordinator and Bitter End staff offer expert instruction on the finer points of boat and dinghy sailing, windsurfing, and the safe handling of boats. Each week's schedule includes instruction for the kids, fun activities such as kayak trips and scavenger hunts, family regattas and Beach Olympics for the whole family. All of these activities are included in the Admiral's Package pricing.

Admiral's Thanksgiving Week Package
November 21-28, 2009
Thanksgiving Week is a family fun blowout!
Not only can everyone in the family participate in the annual Turkey Day Regatta, aboard Hunter 216s or individually in the Lasers, but Hobie hosts a week of casual lessons and fun races aboard the infinitely family-friendly Hobie Waves and Getaways--called Hobie Wave Family Fun Week!
Of course, the week is not complete without turkey! Bitter End hosts a traditional Thanksgiving Day feast, -- the best party of the family holidays at home!
Less structured activities include tubing, keeboarding and Beach Olympics--flipper races, watermelon rugby, Caribbean log roll and more are also on tap!
All of the Thanksgiving Week classes, sailing sessions and activities are geared for the whole family, and included in the standard Family Admiral's Package pricing!
Here's a sample schedule of the Hobie Wave Family Fun Week:
Saturday, meet fellow racers during the Welcome Cruise of the Sound.
Sunday, practice technique during the afternoon Sunday Regatta, and win or lose, practice celebrating during the post regatta awards party and Skippers meeting
Monday and Tuesday, afternoon racing.
Wednesday is layday! Have fun!
Thursday is the big racing day! Long distance racing in the morning, kids-only racing in the afternoon
Friday, one more afternoon race will cap off the week, and awards will be doled out in the evening, followed by dinner.
Racing will be basic triangles and windward leewards, or a combination thereof.
We'll use the Sound Signal Starting System as it appears in the USSA book.
