Bitter End began as a family retreat . . .
...and that tradition continues today. Familes have made Bitter End an annual destination - it is a unique playground that appeals to adults and kids alike.
Certain weeks of the year are Special Kids Weeks: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Presidents' Week and Easter. Our Kids' Camp Coordinator and Bitter End Staff conduct expanded kids' programs during these weeks, including Tubing, Kneeboarding Sailing Lessons, regattas and Beach Olympics--flipper races, watermelon rugby, Caribbean log roll and more, for the whole family to take part!
[Please note that schedule is subject to change, sometimes depending on the whims of the kids! We like to do what they like to do!]
In the evening, kids can wind down an active day with a movie at the Sand Palace. Two movies are shown nightly, and the first movie is always kid-oriented.
