Corporate Meetings & Team Building

You can mix work and play on a corporate retreat at Bitter End. Our conference center is large enough to accommodate up to 80 participants, and secluded enough to allow for successful meetings of all sizes.  Our Special Event Coordinator can organize a stay that offers the right balance of work and play, including constructive team-building or team-bonding experiences, designed and led by one of our advisory board of Olympic and America’s Cup champion sailors. Maximize your group’s experience at Bitter End.

A Customized Watersports Program Plus

At Bitter End, the activties easily reinforce the goals you have for your group, whether you're emphasizing team work, or "play hard" for a job well done.

Start with access to our international Advisory Board of pros from the world of sailing—such as Peter Isler, author of At the Helm: Business Lessons for Navigating Rough Waters—who can deliver an inspiring opening talk and lead the activities.

Add the special attention of Bitter End’s watersports staff, certified by the Royal Yachting Association and the U.S. Sailing Association, available to custom design and execute programs for groups based on their interests.

Match that with our location, on North Sound in the British Virgin Islands, that offers warm water, constant breezes and blue skies year round, and our entire fleet of small boats for guest use and large excursion boats available for private group outings or events, and you cannot help but have a successful program.

For a more relaxed approach, group programs can be incorporated into one of Bitter End’s annual special events or theme-specific weeks.

Everything for the Well-Equipped Meeting

Should a group require it, the beachside Conference Center accommodates up to 80 participants. It is air conditioned and equipped for a range of meeting and presentation formats and opens up to allow the trade winds and garden ambience inside.

The wrap-around veranda and nearby beach with its grouping of lounge chairs also offers participants the ideal spot to get a fresh perspective.

Wireless Internet service is available in the Lobby Building, Clubhouse Restaurant, and The Pub.

With three on-site restaurants, Bitter End can provide a wide array of social and dining options. A welcome cocktail party and dinner cruise on North Sound, rousing jump-ups and limbo parties, a closing evening’s dinner and fireworks -- each special meal and occasion is custom planned by the resort’s award-winning culinary team and event planners.

Bitter End is a unique alternative to the traditional corporate outing. We have been leading the trend in sports and adventure travel for over 30 years, satisfying the most discerning traveler.
