Pro Am Regatta Week

Professionals and legends from the world of sailing gather at Bitter End to host seven days of racing and celebrating during the first week of November. The pros — America’s Cup winners, Olympic Gold Medalists, and World Champions - skipper our Freedom 30 sailboats and the crews are made up of resort guests who range in skill from novice to old salt. The judges — also pros — have developed a unique "triple-racing" format that gives everyone plenty of opportunity to sail with the world’s best and learn from the masters. The racing is complemented by informative seminars, and a lively social schedule that includes non-sailing activities like snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, beach combing, tall-tale telling, and informal mentoring over Painkillers and a brilliant sunset. Sail Caribbean Week

Certain weeks of the year are Special Kids Weeks: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Presidents' Week and Easter. Sail Caribbean, the premiere sailing camp for teens and young adults, joins us to offer an expanded program during these weeks, including Tubing, Kneeboarding Sailing Lessons, regattas and Beach Olympics--flipper races, watermelon rugby, Caribbean log roll and more, for the whole family to take part!

In the evening, kids can wind down an active day with a movie at the Sand Palace. Two movies are shown nightly, and the first movie is always kid-oriented.
