A Customized Watersports Program
Bitter End offers access to its international Advisory Board of pros
from the world of sailing—such as Peter Isler, author of At the Helm:
Business Lessons for Navigating Rough Waters—who can deliver an
inspiring opening talk and lead the activities. Bitter End’s
watersports staff, certified by the Royal Yachting Association and the
U.S. Sailing Association, custom designs programs for groups based on
their interests. Group programs can be incorporated into one of Bitter
End’s annual special events or theme-specific weeks.
Everything for the Well-Equipped Meeting
Should a group require it, the beachside Conference Center accommodates
up to 80 participants. It is air conditioned and equipped for a range
of meeting and presentation formats and opens up to allow the trade
winds and garden ambience inside. The wrap-around veranda and nearby
beach with its grouping of lounge chairs also offers participants the
ideal spot to get a fresh perspective. Wireless Internet service is
available in the Lobby Building, Clubhouse Restaurant, and The Pub.
With three on-site restaurants, Bitter End can provide a wide array of
social and dining options. From a welcome cocktail party and dinner
cruises on North Sound, to rousing jump-ups and limbo parties, to a
closing evening’s dinner and fireworks, each special meal and occasion
is custom planned by the resort’s award-winning culinary team and event
planners.
Bitter End is a
unique alternative to the traditional corporate outing. We have been
leading the trend in sports and adventure travel for over 30 years,
satisfying the most discerning traveler.
Our group service
and abundant activities make meetings as easy as enjoying the cool
ocean breezes and the spectacular evening sunsets. Whether it is
sailing, snorkeling, island excursions, or team-building activities,
the choice is yours. You can work with our Special Event Coordinator to
organize a stay that offers the right balance of work and play,
including constructive team-building or team-bonding experiences.
We have first-rate
facilities for small gatherings including a conference center that
seats up to 80, separate dining facilities for groups, luxurious
accommodations, and a fleet of over 100 boats. Combine this with the
additional activities, amenities and service that have consistently
landed Bitter End among the top resorts in the Caribbean, by Conde Nast
Traveler, Departures magazine and Travel & Leisure, and you have an
unparalleled experience. The entire staff at the Bitter End is trained
to work with groups. You can also work with our advisory board of
Olympic and America’s Cup champion sailors to help maximize your
group’s experience at Bitter End, which can include an opening talk by
one of these sailing “rock stars.”
Our watersports and sailing
specialists will put together an exciting team-building session,
special event, or excursion. Our shoreline staff stands ready to serve
your group at meetings, functions, private dinners, and theme parties.
