Meet the Service Stars for December |
|
Their managers have summed up our super Stars:
Mr. Samson Charles (left): Hailing from the island of Dominica, Samson has been a Sailing Instructor for three seasons at Bitter End. He has become an integral part of keeping Watersports a safe, fun and all around favorite spot for the guests to be. He brings a great attitude to work everyday, and puts a smile on most everyone’s face that he meets at the resort. In his spare time Samson enjoys taking advantage of the Watersports activities, such as sailing and kiteboarding. A little known fact about Samson; he has a hat collection unparalleled by anyone in Virgin Gorda; ask him about it sometime!
Cynthia Edwards (middle): For the past 23 years, Cynthia has been with Bitter End, and she is a member of the treasured group of employees who have contributed to the success of Bitter End. Cynthia is all too eager to inform you about the history and development of the hotel; it is the same eagerness that translates in her work as a Room Attendant and contributes to her being one of Bitter End's gems. It is of little wonder why she is continuously mentioned our hotel comment cards. Simply put, she excels in her job! On top of that, Cynthia personally knows each and every one of her returning guests and whether or not they are booked in her assigned room-cleaning section, she personally visits and welcomes them back as her guests. Without a doubt, it is our pleasure to know that she will continue to strive!
Mr. Leslie James (right): Longevity, dependability, great smile, are all words that can best describe Leslie. His biggest professional pleasure is to guarantee that his work ensures guests are happy and well taken care of. Leslie joined the Bitter End team in 2000 and since then he has shown his true colours as a team player with incredible heart and spirit. Leslie is always looking out for the safety of others in his duties and beyond, doing whatever it takes to make someone happy. Leslie is capable, dedicated, and a very personable young man. He is always quick on his feet. Leslie is truly an asset to his department as he is always cheerful and willing to assist with any task with an interest in learning new things.
Ann-Marie Springette (camera shy!): Ann-Marie has spent many years at Bitter End, and is one of the pillars that keeps the Clubhouse Steak and Seafood Grille running smoothly. Her energy and attitude are contagious, and she is highly regarded by staff and management alike. As the Dining Room Supervisor, “Annie” leads by example: She is dependable, supportive, assertive and attentive. With creativity and a meticulous eye for detail, Annie creates a dining room experience that new visitors and repeat guests alike have come to expect. Much like most of our employees, Annie knows her repeat guests on a personal level and always strives to make each visit better than the previous.
