Director of Human Resources Delores Creque has once again so wonderfully summed up our super Stars (from left to right):

Mr. Kesheem Hodge: There are so many different ways to describe Kesheem and the character that he brings to the resort as a Front Desk Agent. As an aspiring hotel general manager, Kesheem puts into practice what he learns in school. He is currently pursuing his Associates degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the local community college with plans of attending The University of Central Florida, Rosen College next spring. Kesheem is often referred to by his manager as “Mr. Unstoppable” for his “can do” attitude and professional yet personable approach towards all of his guests. Kesheem does whatever it takes to get the job done at all costs. Having been at the Bitter End since 2007, Kesheem has surely proven that he has what it takes to be a resort manager.

Ms. Annie Linton: Working at the Bitter End since 1987, there are two words that have become synonymous with Annie, “loyal” and “dependable.” Annie is the type of employee who can be called at the 11th hour to substitute for another coworker who is unable to come to work, rearranges her schedule, and still manages to show up on time. As a single mother of three, Annie says she tries to instill the values of hard work and dependability to her children in whatever they do in life. “I always tell my children that you have to love what you do and sometimes even when you may not like it, just keep in mind that in your job whatever you do, no matter how small it seems, will make someone else’s life a little more enjoyable.” Annie always puts guest comfort first in her job, and can often be seen engaging in delightful conversation with guests. Any guest, who has had the pleasure of having Annie as their housekeeper, usually leaves a little “thank you” note for her efforts. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Mr. Warren George: Warren gives new credence to the words “work ethic.” Warren works in the Facilities Department and has been since 1976. Staff and managers agree that Warren is one of the most humble people you will ever come in contact with. He is loyal, efficient and always has a smile ready for passersby. Warren says that he believes in “an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay” and it shows, although quiet by nature, managers have taken notice of the positive impact he has with others who often emulate his work ethic. Warren was genuinely surprised when he found out he won; he says he never even thought he would’ve been nominated because he did not realize that others noticed what he does. Warren is proof that at the Bitter End Yacht Club we take pride in every employee in all departments and reward their efforts towards great customer service.

Mr. Stephen Marcellin: as the Pub Supervisor, Stephen manages one of the “hippest” venues at the Bitter End. Stephen has been with Bitter End since 1998. ”Cordial” and “inviting” have become job descriptions when watching Stephen interact with guests and fellow coworkers at the Pub and just about anywhere on property. Stephen is the kind of person you can entrust with the hardest of tasks and never have to think twice because the job will not only get done but it will get done efficiently and with a smile on his face. He  creates an atmosphere  at the Pub that is energetic, and friendly and warm. Hailing from the beautiful Island of St. Lucia, Stephen says he cannot imagine any other position in the world better than what he has at this moment where he gets to have great coworkers and subordinates and meet guests from all walks of life.
